It was great to participate in the Brides-to-be bridal show today. It was held at the beautiful Novi Sheraton Hotel. We had a great spot and got to meet a lot of brides. We played today as a trio going through the wedding standards such as Pachelbel’s Canon in D, Bach’s Jesu Joy of Man’s Desiring and Air on the G String, Mouret’s Rondeau and much much more. We had conversations with brides planning their big event all the way out to 2013. We performed live throughout the show, handed out brochures, discount coupons and even chocolate covered cherries. So many show vendors also stopped by to tell us how elegant we sounded. We hope to hear from all of you that visited us today. Thanks for coming!

Roman and Lusine were able to reserve a recording session at the auditorium of the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp where they have been teaching all summer. Lana and i drove out there for a weekend in the woods, swimming in Lake Michigan and a bit of work. We took the opportunity to record some traditional wedding standards.
